Thank you for showing interest in our organization, Advocates for World Health (AWH), and expressing willingness to get more involved. Our goal is to recover surplus medical products and distribute them to relief agencies working in developing nations. There are many ways in which you can help our organization. Some of the ways are: volunteer at our warehouse, make a monetary donation, and donate more products. Volunteering at the warehouse consists of sorting and packing medical supplies, and working with medical product inventory. You can also make a monetary donation to sponsor these products to go to a community overseas. And if you work for a hospital and/or clinic, you can make a product donation
One 40 ft. container of medical supplies worth $200,000 takes $20,000 to ship to most countries overseas. It is very important that we have supporters like you to help people in need in developing nations. Any help from you would be greatly appreciated, so please get involved now! Your charitable actions would be an immense help with the shipments of the products. 100% of your donation is tax-deductible and will go towards the shipping fees of our containers.
Our organization is devoted to providing these hospitals with the medical supplies they need, may we ask that you consider donating for our organization to help ship tons of life saving medical supplies. Case Example: Clinica El Ayudante
Clinica El Ayudante is a start up clinic in Honduras. They wish to spread the word of Jesus Christ and heal those not fortunate enough to afford health care. They have very few funds and they need all the help they can get. In order to help we need to raise money to send them the supplies they need to properly care for their community.
Our plan is to develop donation teams and raise $50,000 by Summer 2016. We need to develop 12-15 teams that raise at least $5000 each. By raising $50,000, we will be able to send two 40-ft containers to this clinic that is in dire need for as many supplies as they can get. That is $400,000 worth of products! The fundraising will begin Summer 2015 and will continue until our Spring Event, where we can see the 40-ft shipping containers being sent to Honduras!
